Course pre-requisites

Basic IT skills.

Knowledge and understanding

Delegates will have the opportunity to examine the concepts associated with creating and interrogating a database, and to consider how these can be presented to pupils.

Participants will learn how to

  • Use a database - searching and sorting.
  • Create a database for use with pupils.
  • Plan interesting and challenging classroom activities.

Course content and methodology

A mix of demonstrations, discussions, and practical activity.

Intended impact on practice

Delegates will leave the course with lesson ideas and detailed planning.
