Anyone who needs to produce lists, labels or letters from your SIMS system. (PRI)

Course pre-requisites

A basic knowledge of the SIMS reporting interface and access to SIMS in school.

Participants will learn how to

Generate a variety lists from SIMS reporting and analysis routines. Produce mail merge letters to parents. Produce reports which send data to Microsoft Excel for further analysis or printing.

Course content and methodology

Delegates will be able to generate their reports on training data and also export useful new reports to a memory stick for importing into their school system.

Intended impact on practice

Increase the use of SIMS data in schools and reduce the amount of duplicate typing of pupil and parent data by enabling staff to extract relevant data.

Participants should bring

A memory stick in order to export useful reports developed on the course for use back at school.
